Stripe is a global payment processing platform with an array of merchant integration options. Our partnership with Stripe gives you access to Affirm's powerful features — from conversion-driving on-site messaging to flexible payment options — all via Stripe’s elegant interface.

Depending on your Stripe integration method, adding Affirm as a payment option for your customers can require just a single line of code.

The customer experience

We're here to make financing a breeze for you and your customers! With Affirm, your customers can easily pay-over-time for their purchases.

1. When making a purchase, the customer selects Affirm as their payment method.
2. This triggers an Affirm pop-up explaining their payment options and benefits.
3. Customers can quickly get started by entering their phone number. A PIN is then sent via text message to either log into an existing Affirm account or create a new one.

The merchant experience

Our Stripe integration is simple, so you can offer payment options online or in-store. You can also leverage Affirm's on-site messaging at every phase of the shopping journey to increase conversion and average order value for your business.

1. Enable Affirm for your Stripe account.
2. Select and implement your integration method.
3. Set up the Payment Method Messaging Element to configure promotional messaging.
4. Test your integration and go live.
