Quickstart

Offer Affirm as a payment option on the most common e-commerce platforms.

You can add Affirm to your e-commerce platform without having to write any code. As long as you subscribe to a platform that manages payments, you can install and configure an extension to offer Affirm as a payment method on your online store.

1. Choose your platform

First, choose an e-commerce platform to set up and configure Affirm using the applicable extension. We Affirm offers integration options for some of the most popular e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce and many more. No matter which platform you're using, setup is easy and only requires a few simple steps.

2. Set up your Affirm account

Next, you'll need to create a Merchant account to get Affirm up and running on your platform. You should have received an email inviting you to create your account. Click here for information about accessing your account.

3. Set up your development environment

Now that you've signed up and created your Merchant account, you can move on yo setting up your development environment. This enables you to develop and test the Affirm integration in your development environment connected to our sandbox.

To use our sandbox, retrieve your sandbox API keys at https://sandbox.affirm.com/dashboard/#/apikeys for use during integration.

After development and testing, you'll need to update your integration to use your live API keys, which you can find at https://affirm.com/dashboard/#/apikeys.

4. Deploy to your platform

After you've completed thorough testing of your site, you’re ready to deploy to your production environment and offer Affirm as a payment option to your customers!
