January 15, 2021

What's new with Affirm is a biweekly update with the latest improvements to our developer portal, products, and the developer experience. Read about the new updates below.

👥 For general audiences

New lending partner

In October 2020, we partnered with a second lender, Celtic Bank, to originate our loans in addition to Cross River Bank. This new partnership includes the following changes:

Settlement reports

Merchants will still receive a single settlement report, but will have separate Deposit IDs for Cross River Bank and Celtic Bank respectively. However, the settlement timing will be the same for both banks.

Learn more about settlement reports from our Merchant Operations guides.

Marketing disclosures

  • All Affirm modals will have the following updated disclosure: Payment options through Affirm are provided by these lending partners: affirm.com/lenders.
  • Merchants will be responsible for updating their marketing collateral to include the updated disclosure.

🔧 For developers

Affirm + Wix

We've partnered with Wix, a global leader in website creation, to give hundreds of thousands of U.S. merchants on its platform a way to offer customers flexible payment options. Merchants on the Wix Stores platform can now add Affirm as a payment option and quickly integrate Affirm into their checkout flows.
