API Integration

Overview

This guide is for merchant developers integrating Affirm Connect into their e-commerce site. The goal is to provide one integration for different financing needs.

After integrating Affirm Connect, your site will:

• Offer customers a seamless purchase and financing experience across a suite of financial products offered through Affirm and its third party partners
• Process Affirm Connect transactions in your order management system
• Display Affirm promotional messaging

Before you begin

Before your start your integration:

• Learn more about the Affirm Connect flow.
• Understand that Connect APIs are designed to be forward compatible. This means you should be able to gracefully handle additions to our responses.
• Settlement reports to know how to reconcile transactions with the deposits into your bank account
• Only loans originating from Affirm will appear in settlement reports.  All others will appear in originators own settlement reports.
• Katapult orders are Tax Exempt for the merchant
