Affirm Landing Page (In-store Only)
Affirm Landing Page (In-store Only) makes integration easy with minimal development. Link customers to a branded Affirm page where they can apply for financing and receive a virtual card for purchases. Boost conversions with promotional messaging and seamlessly track transactions.
Affirm Lite 1.0 → Affirm Landing Page (In-store Only) Update
"Affirm Lite" has been renamed to "Affirm Landing Page." This product will continue to function exactly as before, and no changes are required for existing integrations.
Overview
Affirm Landing Page enables in-store customers to apply for financing with minimal setup. Customers scan a QR code or text a store-specific code, which directs them to a pre-configured URL hosted by Affirm. From there, they can apply for financing and receive a virtual prepaid card for use at checkout.
This solution does not require technical integration into POS systems and offers a fast way to provide financing at physical retail locations.
How It Works (In-Store Customer Flow)
- Customer scans or texts – In-store signage provides a QR code or a store-specific SMS code for customers to access the Affirm application page.
- Customer applies – The application page (landing page) is mobile-optimized and branded with Affirm.

- Card is issued – If approved, the customer receives a virtual prepaid credit card.
- Customer completes purchase – Card details are copied and entered into the POS terminal by the store associate or customer, depending on the store process.
UX flow
The diagram below provides an example of the UX flow for Affirm customers using the Affirm Landing Page.
In-Store Setup Instructions
Step 1: Create Landing Page Link
Obtain your unique landing page URL from your Affirm technical contact and incorporate it into your in-store materials, such as signage or QR codes, based on your agreed placement strategy.
Step 2: Deploy Signage & QR Codes
Merchants should display Affirm signage (e.g., window clings, counter signs, flyers) prominently in-store. These materials should include either:
- A QR code linking to the Affirm Landing Page, or
- Instructions on how to text a store code to access the application page.
For a full overview of in-store marketing materials and assets, please refer to the Affirm Business Resource Hub. For branded options, please contact your Client Success Manager.
Step 3: Training for Store Associates
While the flow is self-service for customers, associates should be trained to:
- Direct customers to use signage for application access.
- Answer basic questions about the financing process.
- Input virtual card details at checkout.
Refer to the Affirm Business Resource Hub for training materials, best practices, and e-learning modules. Larger merchants may request on-site training support.
Step 4: Go Live
The program goes live once signage is deployed and staff are informed. Customers can begin generating virtual cards and using them in-store for purchases.
Step 5: Identifying Transactions via the Affirm Landing Page
To identify Affirm Landing Page transactions in your systems:
- Use Affirm’s Bank Identification Numbers (BINs).
- Apply custom POS flags if configured internally.
See the full list of BINs here.
