Install and configure Affirm

Install Affirm on Aspenware

1. Login as an administrator.
2. Select Configuration > Local Plugins.
3. In the Group field, select Payment Methods and click Search.
4. Install the Affirm Payment Provider.
5. Restart the application after installing the plug-in.

Set the Affirm widget to true

1. Login as an administrator.
2. Select Configuration > Widgets.
3. Select Edit on the Affirm Payment Provider and select the Is active checkbox.

Configure Affirm

1. Select Configuration > Payment Methods.
2. Click Configure next to Affirm Payment Provider.
3. Enter your Public and Private API Keys. (If you're testing in sandbox, use our Sandbox Public and Private API Keys and check "Use Sandbox").
4. Enter the minimum cart total for Affirm to display at checkout in the Plugins.Payments.Affirm.Fields.MinimumCartValue field.
5.Click Save

Assign the product classification to eligible products

Affirm-eligible products

Do not add the Is Affirm Eligible product classification to gift cards and resort charge products as they aren't Affirm-eligible products. The entire cart must have only Affirm-eligible products, or shoppers can't use Affirm as a payment method.

1. Select Aspenware Commerce > Product Classifications.
2. Select Is Affirm Eligible in the Classification dropdown and click Search.

3. Click Add Assignment.
4. Check the boxes next to all products eligible for Affirm.
5. Click Save.

1. Navigate to Configuration > Languages.
2. Click Edit next to English.
3. Under String Resources, enter "affirm" in the Resource name field and select Search to view all Affirm language strings.

4. Select Edit next to the strings you would like to change, enter your desired text in the Value field and click Save.
